John Wants to Talk About Love

A caller named John wanted to talk about love, so Howard hung up–and immediately regretted it.

After John called back, Howard laughed: “You’re just completely A. annoying and B. you just make no sense.” John confessed that he was “a little stoned” and spent his days at home, collecting a pension from the Navy: “My mental disability stems from a lot of things I’ve held onto from my past.”

Howard came around: “Now you’re making me feel bad…I was going to have some fun with the guy, but it turns out he’s a serviceman.”
