Steve Langford reported that the producers of 'Fringe' were "moving heaven and earth" to get Eric the Midget to their set in Vancouver.
The show has so far sent 2 staffers to his home to help Eric get his passport and to help with the logistics of getting him and his oxygen tanks to Vancouver.
Since there issues about flying with oxygen tanks, they'll be personally driving him from his home in Sacramento all the way to Vancouver.
Eric said it'd be a 15-hour roadtrip: "If we'd been given 3 or 4 weeks, we could've flown."
Eric said he films for two days later this week but couldn't say much about his part: "I'm playing a homeless guy."
Steve noted that Johnny Fratto had recorded some hilarious phone conversations in which Eric and Eric's roommate negotiated with the show--Eric allowed Howard to play the clip of his negotiations, but Howard wanted to play the real prize, a clip featuring an angry tirade from Eric's roommate.
Howard and Gary eventually managed to guilt Eric into waking his roommate and asking for his permission, but the guy refused to let the show use the clip. When Howard asked Eric to try to convince his roommate to change his mind, Eric refused and hung up the phone.
Howard reacted, saying he had been planning to talk to Jon Favreau about a movie role for Eric, but changed his mind after Eric hung up on him.
