When Lisa G came in with the Howard100 News headlines, Howard immediately complimented her hair.
Lisa said she'd gotten blown out on Saturday and, in order to preserve the look, hadn't yet washed her hair: "I'm trying to go all week. I'm really stretching it."
Howard asked if Lisa felt comfortable exercising, as excessive sweat can ruin a blowout, and Lisa nodded: "I just put my hair up in a ponytail and then I pray."
Howard said he knew a woman who'd have her hair blown out twice a week and take baths to keep her hair from getting wet: "She actually gained a lot of weight, because she couldn't exercise."
Lisa wondered if she should get what's called a "Brazilian blowout," a leave-in chemical treatment that makes it easier to maintain a blowout at home: "You don't have to get your hair blown out for like 3 months."
