Early in the show, Howard wondered if Robin's psychological evaluation results would be accurate, as she might not know she's crazy: "If you don't know you're nuts..." Robin cut in, laughing at Howard's logical lapse: "Of course I don't know I'm nuts!" Howard insisted he still had a point--logic had little to do with it: "That's what I was saying the whole time: Robin's not going to know." Howard said he was having a psychological issue of his own: "Now I'm in a whole new neurotic state because I've booked myself to do a bunch of TV appearances--especially Letterman. Whenever I do Letterman, I need about 50 sessions." Howard confessed that he maps the entire appearance out in his head, running though every possible avenue: "Because I don't operate good. I've got to be great."
