Bai Ling stopped by to promote her new single, 'Rehab,' and role on the most recent season of Vh1's 'Celebrity Rehab,' so Howard took the opportunity to sympathize with Dr. Drew, Bai's TV therapist: "I would have a hard time being your doctor. That's right. I would probably come on to you."
Bai said 'Celebrity Rehab' was difficult: "Most of the time, I'm kind of scared. Because they have the power."
It got so bad that, in one episode, she escaped to the roof: "I need to breathe. I needed to find my own space."
Bai said she was now sober but still a free spirit: "I think, as a female, that we need to celebrate our sensuality."
She referred to sobriety as her "new life", adding, "I'm so happy now."
Asked if her free spirit was also, as rumored, prone to free love, Bai shrugged: "Nature gave me a sensuality...I'm not freaky, I'm passionate. I'm beautiful...I think make love is such a beautiful thing."
Howard wondered if she'd had sex after rehab, so Bi just laughed: "I didn't drink!"
Lionel Richie Is Just Her 'Good Friend'
Bai said one of her biggest post-rehab supporters was R&B legend Lionel Richie: "We're good friends." (Bai refused to say more.)
Asked what separated her new single from the Amy Winehouse song of the same name, Bai replied: "I think the message is a little different. She doesn't want to go to rehab."
At Bai's request, then Howard danced to the song with her, melting back into his chair less than a minute later: "I'm exhausted! I'm getting old."
