Another Star Studded Night

While in LA, Howard and Beth also attended the star-studded wedding of Paramount Pictures CEO, Brad Grey. Howard estimated the event’s cost at 3.5 to 5 million dollars: “They had this place sectioned off like it was a military zone and the president was there.” Howard said he spotted Jack Nicholson, Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale, Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes, Eddie Murphy–and Brad Pitt. But no Angelina Jolie. Brad attended with his manager. The highlight was a toast-slash-roast of the groom from none other than Don Rickles: “[Don] called him a midget Jew. It was great. Don Rickles is a genius.” Howard said it was a great trip: “Look at me! I was hob-knobbing. Hob-knobbing! Mr. Hollywood.”
