Early in the show, Howard listened to the first single off Metallica's collaboration album with Lou Reed: "It did sound like Metallica was in a room playing and Lou Reed started talking--like at a dinner party."
The crew then listened to The Velvet Underground's 'Sweet Jane' for comparison's sake, but Robin wasn't sold on that either: "We listened to all that for just one verse?"
Howard wondered why the idea was ever taken seriously: "I don't know how that collaboration started."
Robin thought the same went for all of Lou's projects: "Why would any band say, OK, we're going to make Lou the lead singer? I mean, he doesn't have any voice. It's hard for him to stay in tune."
