Howard said he’d met Barbra Streisand at a mutual friend’s house over the vacation: “I liked her a lot too. We really hit it off…I spoke to her for about an hour. A tete a tete. One on one.”
Howard also talked with “Jimmy Brolin”, Barbra’s husband, but thought she was particularly fascinating: “We sat there, we talked, we measured each other’s noses.”
