In a backstage clip from a recent Block Party show, one fan demanded that Ronnie fire Shuli and the other professional comedians–and instead fill the show with his crude poems and (poorly) improvised bits with JD. Howard prodded Ronnie for comment (“People are embracing your dark side. Your dark passenger.”) but Ricky Man kept his cool: “We’re playing Harrah’s on January 26th.” Howard shrugged that Ronnie had come a long way: “He’s like Dice Clay. He’s got dirty poems and he’s playing Harrah’s.”
