Early in the show, Howard mocked Sal for mispronouncing Elle Macpherson’s name on yesterday’s Wrap-Up Show. Sal came in to shrug that “Ellie McFearson” wasn’t really on his radar: “I’d seen her around here and there. I’m not a model guy.” Robin couldn’t understand how Sal could botch a name on every newsstand in the city: “There’s a magazine with that name!” Sal didn’t care: “Magazine’s don’t speak, Robin. … Her name could be Frank and I’d bang her in the ass. Who cares?”
