The Timothy Poe Scandal

Early in the show, Howard said ‘AGT’ contestant Timothy Poe hadn’t been honest about his military service: “I don’t know what to believe.” Reports have countered his claims regarding the term of his service and an injury he supposedly suffered in the line of duty–even his stutter was a lie: “If it’s true…Of course it’s disgusting. How else would I feel about this? And the attention it’s been given is merited. I mean, it’s a very weird thing.”
