Early in the show, Howard recalled his recent visit to 'The View'--and the "keep it clean" lecture he got from producer Bill Geddie: "I felt like, 'Wow, I'm a little kid. They have to bring me in a room and I have be yelled at by Dad.' … [but] the guy wanted to give me a lecture. Obviously somebody had put him up to it." Even worse, Bill chose the worst possible time: "They made sure everybody was around when I got my lecture. Nobody was kicked out of the room for my humiliation." In a clip of the lecture, Howard mercifully cut Bill off, telling him they wouldn't need the delay: "Bill, you won't need it. I'm not taking my penis out." Bill then snapped: "Let me start again." Howard said he understood Bill was under pressure from the network's lawyers, but thought he'd handled it poorly: "I wanted to leave right then and there."
