Howard thought Richie Wilson was wrong to invite Benjy to his wedding and not allow him a plus-one for his girlfriend, Elisa Jordana–just as if Howard were invited without Beth: “If someone didn’t invite her, I would feel hurt.” Benjy said Richie compounded the hurt by discussing his decision on the air: “We don’t care if he didn’t invite us. It’s not a big deal, but…to make it into an [on-]air thing and disparage her?” Richie came in to apologize: “You’re right. … It was way out of line and wrong.”
