Gary told Howard that he and Jon Hein had taken 10 staffers from the back office out to the famous Peter Luger steakhouse in Brooklyn. A belt-busting meal that started with "a giant piece of bacon, an inch wide and an inch high," followed by "a whole bunch of shrimp cocktail," then "huge plates of steak," and, for dessert, "four enormous hot fudge sundaes."
Howard was repulsed, particularly by the idea of a shared dessert: "You've got to dip your spoon in with other people? I'm going to vomit just thinking of it." Jason came in to pile on, claiming he straight-up drank a shot-like mixture of steak juice and butter: "I didn't have it as a meal. From a spoon! … If humans tasted that good, there'd be a restaurant."
