Kyle DePace and Lucas Dell'Abate, who were both off school for Columbus Day, came in with their fathers this morning to settle the matter.
What's it like to live with Scott DePace? Well last week, his son Derek wanted lime-dusted tortilla chips with the chili the DePaces were having for dinner*, but Scott wouldn't let him have them. HE had already opened a bag of regular tortilla chips – which Scott prefers – and anybody knows you can't have two bags of chips open at one time.
It was time to get down to business and play the game we call Who Knows Their Kid Best?
First up, meet Lucas Dell'Abate!
Lucas is in the tenth grade, enjoys DJing on the weekends at his local teen center, has called his father Baba Booey more than once, and briefly toyed with converting to Judaism, but has since reconsidered! [APPLAUSE]
And ladies and gentlemen: don't let his full head of hair fool you, meet Kyle DePace!
Kyle is good at Math, tunes out during his dad's long winded speeches, and has never seen Scott approached by a single Howard Stern fan! [APPLAUSE]
Gary and Scott left the studio, the kids answered Howard's questions, and the fathers returned to compete to see who really deserved a World's Greatest Dad coffee mug.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
What is your favorite band?
Kyle: Katy Perry; Lucas: Deadmau5
Both dads got this correct.
What's your favorite holiday?
Kyle: Christmas; Lucas: Halloween
Scott got it correct, Gary thought Lucas would say Christmas.
Which one of your dad's habits annoys you the most?
Both kids said farting.
Neither dad got it, Scott said smoking cigars and Gary said talking.
Who is your favorite family member?
Kyle: My Dad; Lucas: My Mom
Gary got it right, Scott thought Kyle would pick his mom.

Gary got it correct, Scott said Kyle doesn't ever get in trouble, but said he may have gotten in trouble for hitting his brother.
The judges (aka Howard) didn't give Scott a point for that last one, meaning Gary was victorious. Of course Scott refuses to accept it as legitimate, and will still fight Gary on it if it ever comes up.
