Howard introduced 3 "extreme" superfans of the show to play Extreme Superfan Trivia. Contestant #1, Carrie Jones, said she'd been listening to the show since 1995. She loves all of Howard's programming--except Geek Time: "Ralph grates on me a little bit." What about Jon Hein? "That's another reason I don't listen to Geek Time. I've had my fill by Friday." ...Benjy? "Benjy frustrates me. As long as he's been a part of the show, he still doesn't seem to get it."
Contestant #2, Mark Mercer, has been running MarksFriggin.com since 1996. At first, it was a commentary on every day's Howard Stern Show, but "eventually I just started writing down what was happening on the show and leaving my opinion out of it." His dedication to the show (and his daily transcriptions) haven't necessarily been good for his marriage: "I think she would like me to get a job."
RJ Harrington, contestant #3, said he listened so often, he's had to replace his Sirius XM antenna 35-40 times. Of course, that's not saying much: "They don't make them very well. They're very chintzy."
