Four aspiring songwriters presented Howard with their submissions for a new theme song for the show, in the hopes of theirs be selected.
Let's meet the contestants!
Craig, a former radio host, got out of the business to pursue his true passion of music. He worked for five hours on his entry, which is a heavy metal song with very few lyrics.
Dorothy usually writes songs for children about difficult subjects like pedophiles, Ritalin, and suicide. But this time she tried her hand at a song about Howard.

Familiar voice Eli Braden, who used to be in a rock and roll boy band, now spends his time writing more songs about Robin than the Beatles wrote about anything, and today he turned in a well-produced song simply called "Howard Stern."
Lastly, Matt played his piece "Bow Down," which reminded Howard of Nine Inch Nails. Matt has a special, sentimental tie to the contest: his wife promised him anal if he won.
