Richard Christy is a weird guy who has eaten some weird things (e.g. squirrel, bull testicles, raccoon dick, etc.) but, as far as we know, none of the weird things he's eaten thus far have come from humans.
All that is about to change.
Richard enthusiastically volunteered to eat the placenta of Producer Will Murray's unborn baby, who is due to drop at any moment.
In some cultures, eating the placenta is a sign of good luck, or a bonding experience between the child and the parents. We're not sure what this would mean to Richard, but we do know it'll mean entertaining radio for Stern Show listeners. And that's more than enough of a reason.
Will's wife (somehow) agreed to the donation, and Sal Governale agreed to cook it on a grill in the studio. Now it's just a waiting game.
P.S. The whole thing completely grosses Howard out, and the idea reminded Robin of the new TV series Hannibal.
