Acclaimed actor takes over as host for "Match Game" on ABC

Alec Baldwin has been announced as the new host of “Match Game” on ABC!
“I think it’s terrific,” Howard said Tuesday in response to the news. “Alec Baldwin is a rare talent.” Baldwin teased the possibility of hosting a game show during his appearance on the Stern Show back in July (see above).
He will reportedly be donating his salary to his wife, Hilaria’s, charity.
After doing a quick “Private Parts”-esque “Match Game” bit (in which Benjy seemed lost), Howard concluded that Baldwin is “a lucky man” to be hosting the show. “The Match Game is iconic,” he added.
