Howard prepares for the arrival of Def Leppard

March 26, 2019

Good Morning Everybody!

Howard announced legendary rockers Def Leppard would be stopping by the studio Tuesday morning to perform live ahead of their long overdue induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

In his own career as a disc jockey, Howard recalled a time when it seemed he couldn’t go more than a few songs without playing another Def Leppard hit on the air.

To give the audience a teaser of what was to come, Howard and Fred Norris sifted through some of their favorite tracks from the band’s discography and as Howard landed on 1983’s “Foolin,'” he wondered if a “Fafa Fooey” parody song had ever been created.

“It’s already written itself,” he said with a laugh before singing a few possible lyrics.
