Howie Mandel stopped by to promote his new TV series, ‘Mobbed,’ and told Howard he’d considered retiring just a few years ago: “Right before ‘Deal or No Deal’…[in] 2005, I was going to quit the business.”
Howie said he was so battered (“Every day I woke up and felt like I’d been kicked in the nuts by this business.”) that he even thought ‘Deal or No Deal’ would be “the nail in the coffin of my career,” but “my wife said to me, ‘What career?”
