“I’m happy to announce that I’ve figured out a way to have it all: more free time and continuing to be on the radio,” the King of All Media reveals
December 16, 2025Hey now! Howard promised he’d share big news with his audience on Tuesday morning, and he did not disappoint!
“I’m happy to announce that I’ve figured out a way to have it all: more free time and continuing to be on the radio. So, yes, we’re coming back for three years,” Howard told Stern Show co-host Robin Quivers. “Thanks to the good folks here at SiriusXM, I was able to create a more flexible schedule … So, we’ll be back!”
Howard had plenty of kind words for his both his own representatives and the folks at SiriusXM, who all worked together to get him the contract he wanted, as well as his longtime staff, including Robin, Fred Norris, and Gary Dell’Abate. “I do want to thank the entire crew who works here. It is a tremendous amount of people who are fantastic,” he said. “I’m sure there’s a lot of excitement.”
“I’m thrilled,” Gary, the show’s longtime executive producer told Howard. “When you think of an athlete who has played for the same team his whole life, I feel like I will be able to play for one team my entire life — the greatest team in the world, the Howard Stern Show.”
Gary said the rest of the staff was equally excited — they even broke into applause after hearing Howard announce the big news. “It was like NASA with people clapping,” he explained.
Longtime caller Mariann From Brooklyn was one of the first to congratulate Howard on the new contract. “On behalf of all the fans, I must say … We’ve all prayed for this day!” she screamed.
Howard seemed just as pleased. “Three more years at SiriusXM,” he concluded. “And I’m excited about it because you know what? I do still love radio.”
