Hookers, Hookers and More Hookers

During the show’s vacation last week, Gary and Sal took their wives to Amsterdam and Paris, courtesy of Heineken. Because of the years of torture Sal has bestowed on Gary, he was nervous about meeting his wife, Mary, for the first time. However, Gary said that once the trip got going, Mary loved Sal and thought he was hilarious. Gary also commented that although he sometimes needs to be reeled in, Sal is a really likable and funny guy.

Gary mentioned that Sal, who reportedly rarely gets sex from his wife, developed an instant obsession with the red light district in Amsterdam. Although he didn’t have any encounters with the hookers who sit in windows that line the streets, Gary said Sal constantly wanted to walk around and look at the women. Howard asked if the girls were attractive, and both Sal and Gary felt they were amazing. Gary noted that when they were walking around Thursday night, all the girls who were out were either nines or 10s. Sal figured that was the case because prostitution is embraced there; he reasoned that if the United States legalized the profession, the cute girls you see working in Kmart would become hookers because there wouldn’t be such a stigma attached to it.

Sal’s interest in the hookers was so great that during the group’s excursion to Paris, Sal asked the tour guide if there was a red light district in the city. The guide responded that there was one, which excited Sal. What he didn’t realize, though, was that just because there was such a place, it didn’t mean prostitution was legal there. Robin pointed out that there is probably a red light district in Manhattan, but you’d still get arrested for propositioning a woman.
