Ralph got on the line and acknowledged he was “a little bummed out” that Howard didn’t tell him about his engagement before he announced it on the air, but Howard informed him he fell asleep prior to calling everyone he wanted to tell. Ralph proceeded to note he was happy for Howard and Beth – even referring to Beth as “the perfect girl” for Howard – but still questioned why they wanted to take the risk of changing their relationship by getting married. Ralph next advised Howard not to get a prenup, but he replied that topic had already been discussed, and that there would be one.
