Bubba the Love Sponge Gets No Foreword

Howard played a clip from the Bubba the Love Sponge Show in which Bubba addressed him over the air, saying he wanted a Stern-penned foreword for his book but knew better than to ask for it.

“If [you] would like to do it, please say so,” he’d said. “I’m just not going to make the mistake to ask you.”

As the clip continued, Brent, Bubba’s producer, offered some valuable insight. “He would take it as a favor if you don’t ask him,” Brent said.

Howard agreed. “How come Brent knows me better than anybody?” he asked. “I love Bubba. But Bubba, I don’t want to write anymore forwords.”
