Howard anticipated the show’s upcoming holiday party, hoping that Jay Thomas would decide to honor the one-guest-only policy.
The staff’s guests are supposed to be their better halves: “I wouldn’t exclude wives or husbands.”
Howard said he’d also decided to forgo last year’s after-dinner karaoke in favor of a lounge DJ: “And then, you know, dancing once we’re all wasted.”
