D.L. Hughley stopped by to promote his Comedy Central special, “The Endangered List,” which examines race relations in America.

“Having a black President has driven some white people crazy,” he said. For example, D.L. remembered how differently people reacted to the last election: “I was on the phone with my father crying. And next to me, an old white man was crying too. But we were crying for two different reasons.”

Before he left, D.L. confessed he hated Dennis Miller: “I told a joke about Don Imus. Dennis Miller calls me on the phone and goes, ‘You’re a funny guy. You don’t have to take my joke.’ I’m like, ‘I don’t even know [you] … You have never even said anything I would understand, let alone [steal].’ I hate him. I want to fight Dennis Miller so bad.”

Clearly fired up, D.L. continued: “If somebody said, ‘You would not go to jail, and we’ll give you a pass–you guys can just handle it’? I would f’ him up. … I despise him. I want to beat the f’ out of Dennis Miller so bad.” He’d take his first shot at Dennis’ marble mouth: “He’s like the white Jesse Jackson. I don’t understand a word he says.”
