Howard’s 5PM Dinner Date

Early in the show, Howard said he and Beth went out for dinner last night: “[We] decided to have a date, you know, keep things real. … “I didn’t want to go out but I realize, if you’re in a marriage, you have to do that stuff.” But since Howard had a show the next morning, they got to the restaurant at around 5pm–hardly a romantic environment: “We’re usually there when the waiters are having their meeting.”
