Donald Trump called in to catch up with Howard, promising his long absence was not an intended slight: “I could never give up on you!” Since Donald is such an infamously blunt, honest guy, Howard simply prompted him with names and topics and to hear his opinions: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s affair: “It was hard to believe. When I heard [it was] the maid, I thought of this gorgeous maid.” And how the scandal broke his spirit: “He’s a different guy.” His wife, Melania: “She’s great. She understands me. … Loves being a mother more than anything.” Sarah Palin: “I spoke with her yesterday. She’s a wonderful woman. She’s got a great following. I often think of people by the way they treat me [and] she’s been so nice to me. She’s said the greatest things about me–publicly. Phenomenal things. Like, you can’t get much better.” ‘Jersey Shore’ star Snooki supporting his run for President: “I was surprised she knew I was running. … What am I going to say? She’s terrible? I’ve got enough enemies. Why should I create new ones?” Porn: “I’ve always been embarrassed a little bit by it. I’ve never been into it. I’ve never needed it.”
