Shuli Egar has a new credit for his résumé: voiceover artist. The longtime Stern Show staffer and comedian was recently tapped for a cameo on CBS’s crime drama “S.W.A.T.”

Thanks to Paul Bernard, the television producer who brought Eric the Actor to “Legit” and Flat Ronnie to “Angie Tribeca,” Shuli got the opportunity to portray the voice of a newscaster reporting on a cache of Russian guns seized in a smuggling bust.

Howard said he was “pleased with the performance,” but did think it was a bit of an unusual casting for Shuli to play the voice of the news.

Shuli, on the other hand, thought it was a natural fit. “Well, I only did it here for eight years,” he contended.

“You covered the Craptacular … It’s not Walter Cronkite,” Howard responded with a laugh.
