“I want to work zero days a week for a minimum of $500 million a day,” he joked
Howard might have set the record straight Monday regarding unfounded rumors about his future at SiriusXM, but that didn’t stop the media from running with some wild theories. On Tuesday, the host kicked things off by “revisiting” where he stands with his contract.
“I’ll be honest about the negotiations,” Howard told his audience before joking about his demands. “I said, ‘Well, here’s my ideal job: I want to work zero days a week for a minimum of $500 million a day.’ So, you can print that.”
Howard also addressed a headline suggesting the King of All Media had hired an Air Force commando to find the supposed mole on the Stern Show who’d been leaking information to the media. The report apparently stemmed from a recent on-air bit in which staffer Memet Walker joked he had received interrogation training while serving in the Air Force.
“Can you imagine, I hired a mole hunter? That sounds like a dermatologist,” Howard said.
“We’re stopping all leaks,” co-host and retired Air Force captain Robin Quivers added with a laugh.
