“What problems should we fix today … global warming?” he joked
Just one day after Howard announced he was canceling his Disney + subscription over ABC’s decision to “indefinitely” suspend “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” the network reversed course, announcing Jimmy Kimmel’s popular late-night show would in fact return to the airwaves on Tuesday evening. While the reasoning behind ABC’s abrupt change of heart remained opaque, various news outlets suggested Howard’s planned Disney+ boycott might’ve factored into the decision. Howard, for his part, didn’t disagree.
“See? Problem solved,” Howard beamed to co-host Robin Quivers Tuesday morning after learning “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” would return in all its glory. “All I had to do was mention I was canceling my subscription.”
“All it took was your threat,” Robin added.
With at least one fixed crisis under his belt, Howard appeared ready to tackle something else. “What problems should we fix today, Robin? Global warming?” he joked before adding, “I’m on a roll.”
