“Heated Rivalry” — the new hit Canadian show about two hockey players in a secret relationship — has now caused a craze across the border in America as well. On Tuesday, Howard spoke of learning about the phenomenon over dinner with friends.
“According to my gay friends, it’s like softcore porn,” he explained.
“It’s super graphic,” executive producer Gary Dell’Abate agreed.
“It doesn’t sound like a gay hockey show, it sounds like a romance — a love show with gay guys,” co-host Robin Quivers responded.
As Howard observed, the series might have a new disciple in Robin. “All the women are loving it … I see you lighting up over there,” he teased.
“It’s time for your reawakening, Robin,” Gary added.
