Tuesday morning featured a very special spelling bee between Ronnie “the Limo Driver” Mund and Aaron, Sal Governale’s sixth grade son. Even though their ages don’t match up, their ability to spell simple words sure did.

Before the game even got started, there was some controversy after Ronnie accused Jason Kaplan and Sal of rigging the game and checked his opponent for an earpiece. Furthermore, the foul-mouthed limo driver was accused of cursing in front of Aaron. Ronnie denied he said anything inappropriate.

“All I said was ‘this is bullshit,'” Ronnie said. He was also overheard saying, “I’m not fucking doing this.”

Swear words he knows, but can Ronnie spell words that kids learn in the fourth grade? Let the game begin!

Ultimatum – Ronnie got it wrong

With Ronnie incorrectly spelling the word “ultimatum,” Aaron became the spelling bee champ and won a $200 Amazon gift card. Listen to the nail-biting finish to the spelling bee (below).

After the game ended, Aaron gave some advice to his opponent.

“If he knows there’s another spelling bee, actually study,” Aaron said.

Sal came into the studio to celebrate his son’s victory and eventually used foul language, forcing Howard to remind him not to swear in front of his own kid.

“I’m the only one here who doesn’t have kids and knows how to act around kids,” Robin announced.

Congratulations to Aaron for beating an adult man at spelling words! Check out audio from the spelling bee (below).
