“I thought this guy was so unbelievable,” Howard says of the late Sly and the Family Stone frontman

Howard and co-host Robin Quivers spent some time Tuesday reflecting on the life and legacy of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Sly Stone, who passed away Monday at the age of 82. Howard said the funk rock pioneer and Sly and the Family Stone frontman was a huge musical influence on him growing up.

“As a teenager, I remember thinking this guy is the real deal,” he told listeners. “I thought this guy was so unbelievable.”

Robin also celebrated Sly’s success in fronting a racially integrated, mixed-gender act in an era when those were less common. “The big thing about him is he said … I’m going to have everybody on stage, and everybody will play instruments, and everybody will perform,” she said.

Before finding fame as a funk rocker, Sly spent a good chunk of the early ‘60s as both a record producer and radio disc jockey.  “The guy was so driven,” Howard noted before concluding: “Sly and the Family Stone — what a band.”

Rest in peace, Sly.

VIDEO: Gary Dell’Abate and Richard Christy Come Clean About Taking Ozempic

“I’ve been microdosing,” the Stern Show’s executive producer admits

Has everyone’s favorite butt-chugging, spoiled meat-devouring, pants-soiling staffer finally prioritized his own health and well-being?

On Tuesday, Richard Christy revealed he shed over 40 pounds after starting on Ozempic. And weight loss wasn’t his only side effect, either — he’s also spending far less time in the restroom. “It’s taken away one of my superpowers because now I don’t have those violent shits anymore, which is better for my body,” he told Howard. “I’m saving a lot of time on shitting … I used to shit three or four times a day, and now it’s just once.”

“And there’s no more accidents?” co-host Robin Quivers inquired.

“No,” Richard responded. “Not even hardly any gas.”

As Howard dug deeper, he learned Richard wasn’t the only staffer taking the so-called miracle weight loss drug.

“I am on Ozempic … I said, ‘I would do it when I was asked,’ and I was asked,” Stern Show executive producer Gary Dell’Abate revealed. “I’ve been microdosing,” he added.

Gary’s recently slimmed-down colleague Jason Kaplan could barely believe what he was hearing. “I am pissed, man … as someone who has lost weight and is struggling to keep it off and lose more weight,” Jason said. “Richard I’m not shocked by [but] Gary I’m shocked by because he’s always telling me, ‘Oh, I’m running. I’m eating better.’”

“I’m not shocked at all,” Howard responded. “Gary has no ability to control his habits.”

“It’s true,” Gary admitted.

Staffer JD Harmeyer, meanwhile, insists he still has no interest in taking the jab. “I am not doing shots to myself. I will gladly be the fat guy on staff, or whatever,” he concluded.
