“Stranger Things” returned to Netflix last week with an all-new batch of episodes, but as Howard and co-host Robin Quivers noted Tuesday morning, the retro sci-fi horror show’s cast of children — which includes fan favorite Millie Bonnie Bongiovi (nee Bobby Brown) as Eleven — look less and less like kids with each passing season.

“They’re all adults!” Robin remarked.

“A couple of them have receding hairlines,” Howard joked. “But they’re still doing the exact same shit they used to do. They’re riding bicycles — they’re like permanently children.”

Even so, Howard wouldn’t let that stop him from enjoying the new episodes. “I don’t care,” he said. “I’m suspending disbelief. I love ‘Stranger Things.’ I do.”

If staffer JD Harmeyer had one gripe, it was that Netflix is releasing Season 5 in three separate batches of episodes instead of all at once.

Howard saw his point and vowed to do what he could to rectify the situation. “I have an email for [Netflix CEO] Ted Sarandos. I’m going to write him … and say ‘Ted, for Christ’s sake, give everybody a break and just dump the whole show [at once],’” he joked.
