Howard Stern Presents: Graham Nash

The legendary musician performs a showcase of tunes

April 11, 2016

While in town promoting his new album “This Path Tonight,” our friend Graham Nash stopped by Howard’s studio to play an acoustic session just for our listeners!

Graham was joined by guitarist Shane Fontayne who produced “This Path Tonight” (and also had plenty to chat with Gary about since he played with Bruce Springsteen in the early ’90s and with the band Lone Justice).

In this special, Graham and Shane treat listeners to acoustic versions of new songs, classic Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young tunes, and even a rare cover. You may remember from Graham’s interview with Howard back in October 2013, that he was a member of the ’60s group The Hollies. Graham dusted off the British invasion hit “Bus Stop,” written and performed by Hollies bandmate, Graham Gouldman. Even though Nash was in The Hollies, this is not a song that you normally hear him sing … until now!

You’ll also hear Graham reminisce on his time with Joni Mitchell and the inspiration to the CSNY song, “Our House.” Graham sings the song (accompanied only by Shane on acoustic guitar) for the first time ever without a piano.
