Poison’s Rikki Rockett Claims He Got Oral Cancer From Sex
Rocker says anyone with more than one sex partner is at risk
July 29, 2016
If you have had one sexual partner in your life, you may want to stop there, at least according to Poison drummer Rikki Rockett.
During a recent interview on the “One on One With Mitch Lafon” podcast, the 54-year-old Rockett discussed his 2015 oral cancer diagnosis, and warned all sexually active listeners. “[My illness] is from HPV; that’s where it’s from. And I caution anybody that has had more than one sex partner in their life,” he said.
Rockett emphasized that neither time nor promiscuity are factors when it comes to the illness. “I have a partner, a buddy, and a girl that I went through this treatment with,” he continued. “One of them’s been married nine years, the other one’s been married fifteen years. And [they were] HPV positive. That’s how long HPV lasts in the system.”
“I don’t have one single friend that isn’t at risk — not one,” Rockett said.
Rockett claims he is now cancer free thanks to an experimental immunotherapy drug. Read more about his sexual cancer theories over at Blabbermouth.net.
