Roomba ‘Pooptastrophe’ Takes Internet By Storm

The horrific tale of a grabby Roomba has blown up on Arkansas man Jesse Newton’s Facebook.

It all started innocently enough, when the Newton family forgot to take its puppy, Evie, out before bed. Naturally, an “accident” took place, which was unfortunately ahead of the Roomba’s scheduled 1:30 a.m. cleaning. Chaos then reigned as the Roomba glided over a piece of Evie’s leavings and continued to drag them hither and yon. The next morning, the family received a rude awakening in the form of a long and winding poop trail.

“Do not, under any circumstances, let your Roomba run over dog poop,” warned Newton on Facebook. “If that happens, it will spread the dog poop over every conceivable surface within its reach, resulting in a home that closely resembles a Jackson Pollock poop painting.”

Newton posted a diagram of the path taken by this mischievous Roomba through the family’s living room (see above). The image quickly went viral, eventually getting the attention of the folks at Roomba. “Your ‘pooptastrophe’ has won the hearts of the internet AND helped ‘spread’ the word of caution when scheduling with pets!” Roomba wrote to Newton.
