VIDEO: Indian Man Attacked While Taking Selfie With Python

Snake bites unidentified photographer in shoulder during ill-fated photo op

September 26, 2016

An Indian man was recently attacked by a giant python while attempting to take a selfie with it.

It happened last week after the large snake was removed from a hotel in Mount Abu, in the northwest part of India. A group of people held the serpent up in the air for an impromptu photo op, but the camera shy snake just wasn’t having it and, as the unidentified victim attempted to take a selfie, it lashed out and bit him on the shoulder.

Pythons aren’t venomous, however, and the snake-bit selfie enthusiast reportedly sustained only minor wounds. The snake was later removed from the area, but its current whereabouts are unknown.
