Video: Here’s the Official Trailer for Jordan Peele’s Horror Flick ‘Get Out’

“Key & Peele” comedian writes and directs the Daniel Kaluuya thriller, hitting theaters February

October 5, 2016

The only laughing anyone will be doing while watching comedian Jordan Peele’s new film “Get Out” is the kind one does to keep from crying.

The former “Key and Peele” star wrote and directed the upcoming horror flick centering on a black man (Daniel Kaluuya) who visits the family of his white girlfriend (Allison Williams) for the first time and all manner of hell breaks loose.

It’s not unusual for thrillers to include moments of levity, but the trailer for Peele’s is anything but hilarious. It’s tense throughout, racially charged, and more than a little bit terrifying.

The film co-stars Bradley Whitford and Catherine Keener and was produced by Blumhouse Productions, the company behind the “Insidious” and “Paranormal Activity” franchises.

“Get Out” hits theaters in February 2017. Check out the trailer (above).
