VIDEO: Nazis Learn About Alternate Universes in ‘Man in the High Castle’ Season 3 Sneak Peek

Amazon’s Philip K. Dick-inspired and Ridley Scott-produced sci-fi drama returns in 2018

Obergruppenfuhrer Smith learns about dimension-hopping film couriers in a Season 3 clip from “The Man in the High Castle,” Amazon’s critically acclaimed sci-fi drama about an alternate universe in which the Nazis and Japanese won World War II and seized control of the United States.

In the clip (above), which debuted Friday at New York Comic-Con, Smith (Rufus Sewell) and one of his Nazi scientists examine a black woman who traveled from a parallel universe in which the Axis lost WWII to deliver news reels showing a world in which America hasn’t been carved up by fascist and imperial forces. It’s then that Obergruppenfuhrer Smith, a high-ranking Nazi official, comes face to face with what has really been going on since the beginning.

“I don’t understand,” Smith tells the scientist who has examined the courier. “So, you’re saying that different versions of us exist in other worlds?”

“The Man in the High Castle,” adapted from a Philip K. Dick novel and executive produced by Ridley Scott (“Blade Runner”) and Frank Spotnitz (“The X-Files”), also stars Alexa Davalos, Cary Tagawa, and Luke Kleintank. Season 3 debuts on Amazon in 2018.
