Jeff Goldblum also returns for the Steven Spielberg-produced sequel, in theaters June 22

Chris Pratt and past Stern Show guest Bryce Dallas Howard find themselves once again running for their lives in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” but this time they’re threatened by more than just dinosaurs.

On Thursday night, Universal Pictures dropped the official trailer for the next installment of Steven Spielberg’s long-running “Jurassic Park” franchise. In it, Owen (Pratt) and Claire (Howard), key figures in 2015’s “Jurassic World,” have returned to the island to rescue the dinosaurs from death by volcano.

Unsurprisingly, the film’s heroes soon find themselves on the run from not only the deadly dinos they’re hoping to save but also an erupting volcano spewing a whole lot of magma.

In addition to explosions and action-packed set pieces, the trailer teases the return of franchise stalwart Jeff Goldblum, whose character Dr. Ian Malcolm last appeared in 1997’s “The Lost World: Jurassic Park.”

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” executive produced by Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow and costarring BD Wong, Toby Jones, Justice Smith, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin, and James Cromwell, hits theaters June 22, 2018.
