Richard Christy may want to clear his calendar because Metallica announced Monday they will be heading out on a North American Tour starting in May. The legendary metal group and friends of the Stern Show will kick off the WorldWired Tour 2017 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on May 10 and wrap up north of the border in Edmonton, Alberta on Aug. 16. The supporting acts on the tour, which will vary by date, include Avenged Sevenfold, Volbeat, and Gojira.

Metallica appeared on the Stern Show in September 2016 to plug their Grammy-nominated album, “Hardwired…to Self-Destruct.” Check out the band’s performances live on the show here.
