On Monday, Netflix dropped the trailer (above) for their upcoming ’80s-set original series, “GLOW,” aka the “Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.” Alison Brie (“Community,” “Mad Men”) stars as an aspiring Los Angeles actress who finds herself swept up in a fledgling pro-wrestling organization run by B-movie director Sam Sylvia (played by Stern Show guest Marc Maron). Though Brie’s character Ruth Wilder is fictional, “GLOW: Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling” was a very real syndicated TV show.

True to the decade in which it takes place, the trailer for “GLOW” promises big hair, tight spandex, and a drug-serving robot.

“GLOW” will be helmed by Liz Flahive (“Homeland”) and Carly Mensch (“Orange is the New Black”) and hits Netflix on June 23.
