Robert Pattinson is running like his life depends on it in the new trailer for "Good Time," an indie crime-drama that wowed crowds earlier this year at Cannes Film Festival.
The "Twilight" star and generally clean-cut heartthrob is barely recognizable as the scruffy haired, scraggly bearded character Constantine "Connie" Nikas, who spends much of the neon-lit, frantically edited trailer sprinting through the streets of New York City.
Directed by the Safdie Brothers and co-starring Jennifer Jason Leigh ("The Hateful Eight") and Oscar-nominee Barkhad Abdi ("Captain Phillips"), the caper film follows Pattinson's desperate attempt to rescue his brother from lock-up on Rikers Island.
"Good Time" hits theaters Aug. 11. Check out the trailer (above).
