VIDEO: Robert Pattinson Is Running on Empty in the Trippy Crime Flick ‘Good Time’

Jennifer Jason Leigh and Barkhad Abdi co-star in the film, hitting theaters Aug. 7

June 29, 2017

Robert Pattinson is running like his life depends on it in the new trailer for “Good Time,” an indie crime drama that wowed crowds earlier this year at Cannes Film Festival.

The “Twilight” star and generally clean-cut heartthrob is barely recognizable as the scruffy haired, scraggly bearded character Constantine “Connie” Nikas, who spends much of the neon-lit, frantically edited trailer sprinting through the streets of New York City.

Directed by the Safdie Brothers and co-starring Jennifer Jason Leigh (“The Hateful Eight”) and Oscar-nominee Barkhad Abdi (“Captain Phillips”), the caper film follows Pattinson’s desperate attempt to rescue his brother from lock-up on Rikers Island.

“Good Time” hits theaters Aug. 11. Check out the trailer (above).
