VIDEO: Marvel's 'Inhumans' Follows an Intergalactic Royal Family Feud in First Official Trailer

Upcoming series premieres Sept. 29 on ABC

ABC has dropped the official trailer for "Inhumans," the network's new Marvel show about a super-powered, super-dysfunctional royal space family.

The two-minute teaser focuses primarily on a rivalry between two brothers—Maximus (played by Iwan Rheon of "Game of Thrones" fame) and Black Bolt (Anson Mount)—vying for the space throne, but their conversations are mostly one-sided as Black Bolt's super-powered voice can apparently kill with a whisper. Serinda Swan ("Graceland") and Eme Ikwuakor co-star as Medusa, Black Bolt's wife whose superpower is dangerous hair, and Gorgon, a cousin whose hooves can make the ground tremble.

The story begins on a distant planet, but an intergalactic jailbreak and chase eventually brings the characters to Earth and it isn't long before Black Bolt is sending cars flying through the air.

"Marvel's Inhumans" premieres Sept. 29 on ABC, with the first two episodes screening Sept. 1 at IMAX theaters.
