If you got hyped up over the summer from the “Justice League” trailer, it most likely wasn’t only due to the adrenaline-pumping action of Wonder Woman, Batman, the Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg—there was also Gary Clark Jr.’s electrifying cover of “Come Together.”
Now, the Grammy-winning musician who took the blues world by storm has released his full Beatles cover—a collaboration with film composer Junkie XL (“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “Mad Max: Fury Road”)—to hold you over until the movie premieres. He also performed it live on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
It isn't the first time Clark Jr. has covered a Beatles tune, either. He performed "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" onstage with Dave Grohl and Joe Walsh at "The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles" in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four's first performance on "The Ed Sullivan Show."
