Bryan Cranston took a break from breaking a leg on Broadway to break big news with fellow Stern Show celebrity superfan Dan Patrick: a “Breaking Bad” movie is in the works.

The award-winning actor and repeat Stern Show guest called into the sports radio host’s “Dan Patrick Show” on Wednesday to discuss his upcoming stage adaptation of “Network” and confirm a recent Albuquerque Journal report about a Vince Gilligan-helmed “Breaking Bad” movie in the early stages of production.

Bryan went on to say he’d be happy to shave his head, put on a hat and glasses, and once again get into character as Walter White—the critically acclaimed AMC drama’s meth-cooking antihero—but he hadn’t yet read the script for the movie and didn’t know whether his character would even make an appearance

According to the Albuquerque Journal’s report, the working title for the film is “Greenbriar“ and the plot follows “the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom,” but Cranston did not confirm those details. Check out a clip of his “Dan Patrick Show” interview (above).

Bryan Cranston’s “Network” opens at the Belasco Theater on Saturday, Nov. 10. Get more information here.
